Bootleg Watch

Pre-Face:

Allow us to provide some clarification about the purpose of this page. This page isn't here to buy, sell, or trade bootlegs that are out there. If you want to get into that sort of stuff, go right on ahead, just keep our names out of it. We also won't be looking at bootlegs that are of movies that are available in theaters or currently available on DVD, or some other video format for your consumer consumption. Nope, what we mean by bootleg watch is to identify those hard-to-find-out-of-print movies that aren't, and probably never will, be available on a modern day format.

You know what we're talking about, movies like Night of the Creeps, and The Incredible Melting Man, or and various other movies for whatever reason -- be it the film house has gone bankrupt, or the rights to the film are lost in copyright hell -- are not available. There are, of course, bootlegs out there that are to be had. And we'd like to identify that some are out there, and perhaps provide some feedback on how good they are, if there are alternate version kicking around, and if there are any assholes out there trying to rip people off offering bootlegs that don't really exist.

And hey, if you've found some kick ass bootlegs out there (like perhaps a really kick ass copy of Killdozer for example) let us know! We'd certainly pass the word on!
