Pervert!A review by Michael O'May Pervert is for all intents and purposes a very loving tribute to Russ Meyers, with some very welcome B movie sensibilities sprinkled in. And as a fan of tits and movie cheese in general you can understand my love for this movie. Pervert follows a boy named James as he returns home from college to his widower and a little crazy father. Much to James’s dismay his father has married a sex crazed bimbo, played by porn starlet and one time mayor to be Mary Carey, who wants nothing more than to fuck anything that moves. The temptations for James prove too be too much and his wack job father soon takes notice. Who is responsible then when large breasted whore after large breasted whore turns up dead? They films creators don’t hide there love of Russ Meyers at all. There is plenty of jive out of place dance numbers to bridge scenes and give us more gratuitous nudity, and amazing desert locals are in abundance. In actuality they found and used some of the sets from “Faster Pussy Cat Kill Kill” which are shot with loving care and you would swear that they haven’t changed at all in 30+ years. They eye for the female form is there as well too. It’s a simple fact that cinematically bigger is better and that defiantly applies to breasts, Russ Meyers got that and much to your viewing pleasure “Pervert!” got that too. I can’t recommend this movie anymore than I already have, fan of tits or not it’s a fun party movie that at the very least deserves a rental from your sorry ass. Pervert! Has been floating around the independent scene for a few years now and thanks to a deal with TLA releasing it’s slowly but surly finding an audience. Look for it on amazon.com blockbuster.com and at a Hollywood video near you. I highly recommend it.
