Ahoy-hoy! LBP is back with a new look thanks to our sensual webmaster Nick Peron! And with our return we wanted to give you folks the scoop on what the hell is going on with us:

First off - Feb. 2011 will mark the 20th anniversary of Low Budget Pictures and this summer we are kicking off a convention tour to promote the milstone. In the coming months you can see LBP at Horrorfind weekend, Monster Mania, Cinema Wasteland and a few more before the year is out.

We will also be releasing special screener versions of Geek War and Doom Blade! Speaking of Doom Blade: This is the next production! Yes after 2 years
of talking about it and laughing to ourselves about how silly it will be, we are finally going into production on the post apocalyptic mutant punk comedy in August. The film will bring back the character of DEATHBONE played by Billy Garberina.

This is NOT a sequel to Deathbone but a new adventure that happens to showcase the character. Its a pretty great cast we have lined up that includes Meredith Host, Desiree Saetia, Catherine Cuthbertson, Kurt Indovina and more.

We will have more info on that as we begin production. After that flick we will be doing a new Zombie comedy for SRS Studios shooting in October. This gem is a twist on the old "Night of the living Dead" formula which I think you fans will really get a kick out of. This one will star Debbie Rochon, Monique Dupree, Josh Suire, Desiree Saetia, Shawn C. Phillips and Sean Jordan of VHSPS. More cast will be announced as it gets closer.

On the release schedule coming up from Tempe video will be the official release of "Beyond Mcnasty: Filthy Mcnasty 4"! Not sure when it will hit stores but it could be by October.

In the future we have some interesting Slamdance news which we really can't get into right now but if it all pans out, it could be an AMAZING time for LBP
come Jan.

There is also a 20th anniversary Documentary being made by a group of dedicated fans/filmmakers that will be coming out through Tempe early 2011 to coincide with the anniversary event. This will be a feature length doc which spans the entire history of LBP and has interviews from LBP members, fans, filmmakers, celebs and more! I myself can not wait to see this thing and I think you fans will love it as well.

As for the new site-Check it out-Everything is re-vamped and we added a few new touches as well. We also want the site to be more fan interactive so any ideas you may have to enhance the site-please send to our webmaster Nick.

We will try to make the site a good time for you blokes. There are still a few bugs and thing to work out but enjoy what we have given you so far. We will be back often to continue to make the site bigger and better for you. SO until next

A Little Note From Webmaster Nick - Hi folks! As Chris has said above, he's looking at making the site more interactive and that's what I will be setting out to do. Right now the merch section is getting overhauled, we should have that up shortly! I'm also going to be going through the archive of old material of stuff that Chris has sent me over the years and I will be putting up independent pages for each LBP films that we have extra material for (trailers, behind the scenes photos and the like) if you have any more ideas on how to make the site better please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail at the link above and I'll try and make the magic happen.
